A million ideas but how many actoins?
Inaction is so easy. It's safe and comfortable for a square like me. I'm kind of in a waiting point. I have a job, I have a 3 year plan to finish my degree, I can make it just fine the way things are now. But what about all the crazy ideas, dreams, and plans. But is this enough for me right now?
I've thought about moving up to Maine and spending a month with my grandmother. Getting to know her more and letting her teach me the wealth of life and wisdom she can share from cooking to living around the world to how to relate to my father/her son.
I've thought about going to china and teaching english for a year. I've through about joining the military and seeing where it takes me while serving. I could go anywhere and do so much. But I have another fantasy. Another idea.
Live a simple life, in a quiet town. Channel the restlessness into something new. Reading more, exercising more, volunteering more.
My heart says live here, my head says it's time for something new and challenging. My hormones abstain.
