Well, so long liberty
Let's forget you didn't show
Not in my time
But in our sons' and daughters' time
When you get the feeling
Call and you got a room
Meantime, we're cutting our hands at the ke-bab shop
In the streets of fear
Forgetting all our best tae-kwon-do moves
On a barrel of beer
We trying to get a signal on a Ragga F.M.
Do the D.T.I., bust CNN
Sucking the wine right outta the vine
Spitting it out again
Groovin', lets cut out of the scene, go groovin'
Groovin', lets cut out of the scene, go groovin'
Drive, drive, drive
Distance no object, rasta for I......
I have to say this is one of my MOST favorite songs in any band of Joe Strummers.. I love it. Ha its actually my ringtone right now. I more than love it I could listen to it again and again and it means more or I find more meaning it each time. Know what I mean? Joe Strummer was/is such an awesome musician, but he himself was such an awesome person, totally amazing. Seriously read some interviews with him, watch even one of his documentaries, read his biography. Truly great person!! Sorry to make a blog completely about him but nothing in my day was eventful enough for me to care to write about and I'm sitting here listening to his music and i cant talk about him enough! lol.
""I'd like to say people can change anything they want to; and that means everything in the world. People are running about following their little tracks. I am one of them. But we've all gotta stop... just stop following our own little mouse trail. People can do anything; this is something that I'm beginning to learn. People are out there doing bad things to each other; it's because they've been dehumanized. It's time to take that humanity back into the centre of the ring and follow that for a time. Greed... it ain't going anywhere! They should have that on a big billboard across Times Square. Think on that. Without people you're nothing."" - Joe Strummer

Mine is a mini Dell. It was cheap when I needed to get something I could use for school.
