ok today i brought my portfolio, an three decent sketch books down to the "Shamrock Social Club" for a a possible apprentice ship there ( that s a really good tatto parlor in hollywood ca), an the owner is not there:grrr: so im a lil bummed. My tat artist was an i showed him how his worked looked, my tat is healed by the way. he was impressed he said " it was a very hard one ..", so we played a game of billards. an then she came in, Derek hess's ( famous low brow artists) girlfriend, she was bored i guess an looked through my sketch books ,all nonschillant an said ..."you want to go for coffee..."
ok i said, why not? right?
so i bid fond farewell to D. an i trot off with this girl.
we go for a cup of joe, an she says "you have talent ,just like my man," an he calls her"an she tells him over the phone in front of me that she has found an up an comming artist who will do our matching tat ( i guess there getting married or something) an she hands me the phone, he sounds old bytheway, but whatever, an raps with me for a bit an we come to the design layout that he wants He said hes never heard of me an that ,thats a good thing because that there are a million ppl who are known but suck.
so we come to terms of a ..well i cant tell you here. because it for them an it has to be one a kind. I do great detail line work an crosshatch, an shu mei + pin stripes, so you can get a idea of thestlye just not teh fabris, k , anyway, he says hell give me 250$ each for the full print of both his an hers! thats 500$ for two full pieces of just art! for Derek Fucking Hess!
