So ... what a night...
Stu and Tash and I decide to go and get some good old sushi for dinner. Simple really? On the way there, I get my first flat tyre, and Stu admits to me he has no idea how to change it . So, after remembering instructions one awesome person happened to give to me just a few weeks ago, I proceed to change it myself. Half an hour later, we are on the other half of the journey to sushi.
Sushi is awesome. Stu derails the train by leaning on it and Tash spills hot green tea all over herself. On our way home, about half way out of Carindale and not even back onto Creek Rd, police pull me over as I do not have my lights on I get away with a warning once I tell a lie, saying that I had only just pulled out of the carpark and had not even driven ten metres... meanwhile Stu and Tash piss themselves in the back of the car....
So things couldn't possibly get any funnier.. or could they? On drive home, I hear yet another funny noise from the back of the car, and realise my hub cap (not the one off the tyre I replaced) has fallen off and rolled away, so we spend about 15 mins walking up and down Pine Mountain Rd looking for said hub cap, only to find it had somehow rolled up the kerb and down someones driveway
I have not laughed so much in ever since I can remember.... omg.... Stu has convinced me to buy a new car, lol....This glass of wine is going down realllly well Life IS good!
In other news, we have applied for one house - it's about 10 houses down from where we live now, lol. Recently renovated kitchen, polished timber floors and a nice big entertaining backyard, yay. I haven't seen it in the flesh as yet, but apparently the bathroom leaves a tad to be desired.... I will probably have to buy a new fridge cos Tash forgot to measure the front door to make sure it's gonna fit... Hopefully they will let us have a dog, and hopefully the rooms are as big as Tash says they are, cos I can't stand tiny rooms I'm quite excited about moving - you know, the whole change is as good as a holiday thing - I think it will do me good.
Blah. I'm so tired What a week though
