We interviewed a really, really lovely guy last night. He's from Tans-mania (hehe) just like Stu is, BUT cos he just drove up here (this week), he still doesn't have a job. I don't know how that is going to go down with the real estate, but we figured if they will approve Stu and I on our own it shouldn't worry them.... He's willing to pay a month's rent in advance, and bond, so WE are okay with it and if need be we could both get him temporary jobs, not that I think he's gonna have any problem finding one. And OMG you should have seen his body *drooooools*.
Apart from the real etsate, my problem is we interviewed soooo many people, and I think he was the nicest/most fun/most normal but cos of my past experiences with housemates I am suspicious of everyone. Like, "Why the hell did he drive all the way from Tassie to Brisbane? He's not going to uni, or not coming up for a girl or any normal reasons to move interstate, why didn't he just move to Melbourne?". I found it sus, lol. Stu reckons I'm being stupid, but now I'm paranoid. How would most people feel about moving in with an unemployed interstate person who has never actually lived outta home before? I've been in contact with him for over a week now, and he is incredibly considerate and always calls if he's late, or not running to schedule. He seems really gentle and has fairly similar ideas as to how we run our house, in terms of housework etc. He's well mannered, but normal I guess.... Damn bad experiences....
Had another bad experience last night..... On my way home on the bus, I pressed the stop button and for some reason the bus driver diverted away from the stop and kept going. I realised there was a lady standing next to the driver telling her to keep going, she had pressed the button at the wrong time. So I'm at the back of the bus yelling 'excuse me, I want to get off', but cos the old hag is talking so loud the bus driver is confused. By then another lot of people press the button, which doesnt work cos the stop thing is still active, another stop goes past, old hag still talking to bus driver, me still yelling. I walk to the front of the bus hearing the old hag laughing "I'm sorry I want the one after this" and me going "I wanted the one back there". She turns around "What's your problem" and Id already had a shit day so "Well there are three people who wanted to get off at the stop way back there but you told the bus driver to keep going" and all she could say was "Not my problem". Other lady behind me who missed her stop as well (oh the bus is still going by the way) says "Yeah well you were talking so damn loud the driver didn't hear us and now we all have to walk home in the dark, have you got any consideration at all? Stupid hag..." So Yeah, war of words starts between her and the old hag and I'm stuck in the middle. Just as the bus stops the old hag reaches forward to hit the lady behind me and the lady behind actually pulls me out of the way, otherwise I would have been hit. Anyhoo I get off the bus scared as all hell and walk 2 and a half k's home This shit always happens to me, lol *shakes head*
Sorry for the random story....
