Wooo! So I got my promotion....
but not quite what I wanted. I'm now the Senior Sales Manager for the Valley store, and sometimes at Jindalee as well, which is crap. I was told "Kate, you'll be the store manager without being the store manager". Everyone answers to me and I answer to the owner. Honestly though, I'd rather have the store manager title than the dollars...Didn't get a chance to talk dollars with him, though - I couldn't get a word in edgeways. Next week though, next week.
So, I got my electricity bill (or, should I say, our) this week. $759 and about 10 minutes of expletives later I managed to draw both housemates aside to come to the conclusion that a combination of heaters and Megan constantly leaving the lights/TV's/irons/computer moniters/stereos etc on that was to blame for the bill. That's crazy, though. I nearly had a heart attack. After her $290 phone bill last month (which I might add, she still owes me for) I wasn't particularly pleased with this months effort.
My sister reckons we should tell her we're moving out once the lease is up, or alternatively that a family member (ie my sister, who will stick to the story) desperately needs somewhere to live, and we're really sorry but we're gonna ask you to move out for her.... However, I strongly believe in Karma and I know lying will bite me in the bum sooner or later so have decided against my sisters suggestions. It's soo hard to just ask someone to leave!

Drive-In movie night!!!!
Come along and watch a couple of movies... Snakes on a Plane and the Lake House. Movies start at 7pm so maybe if we meet and get our spot around 6:00pm? cos aparently its busy on a Sat night and that way we can park together. You can bring matresses to stick in the back of vans/utes and dont forget your blankets!!!
The drive-in has its own diner, but maybe if we all bring some nibbly things and just share? I am pretty sure you can BYO if you wish, the website doesnt say but I guess if we aren't too rowdy or annoying it should be ok.
