Soo yeah. First day back at work after my not-so-holi holidays. Since I've been gone, the business has been sold and I went back to work today to find out whether I keep my job or not. Thankfully, I will not find out for another month, or until the new people take over. However after much other crap*, I did find out my current bosses have recommended me as store manager to the new owners biggrin

*Other crap consists of accidently dobbing in a coworker who breached a confidentiality agreement I didn't know existed by telling me the business had been sold blackeyed

It does this thing... whenever I open a video file (whether it be from my HD or DVD drive, or whether I play it through WMP, or PowerDVD, or the Creative video player etc) my computer randomly resets. Sometimes it comes up with the blue BIOS-y screen with some sort of report I don't understand on it, and sometimes it doesn't. I have run the Windows error report on it and it comes back a) corrupt error report confused or b) unknown device driver.

I have checked and installed all the latest drivers, both for my video card and my sound card, and a new Windows one of some sort my housemate told me to install, but still have the same problem... I have checked my devices and all seem to be enabled and working and have current drivers if neccessary. And as far as I know I have not installed any other programs/drivers since I've been having the problem that could be 'unknown'. Naturally I have also done virus/spyware checks just to be on the safe side.

Is there anything else I can try before having to a) take it back to Computer Alliance b) kick it or c) formatting like my housemate suggested, all of which I really can't be bothered doing.

On another note, I now have half a collection of Pawphans biggrin Stu and I also spent 2 hours last night searching in Woolworths all over Brisbane to find the rare "Giggle the Twin Bear", the final part in my mini beanie kids collection. But we prevailed! and now I can honestly say I have an insatiable appetite for collectables frown

On yet another note, I want to have Dylan Morans babies biggrin

Ahah, yeah, I still have my Snugglepot and cuddlepie book. I'm suprised you noticed it tongue My sister gave it to me when I was young, so it means a real lot to me.
