One thing I despise about holidays is how your body clock reacts to it - 3 years of getting up at the same time every morning doesn't go down well when you REALLY want to and actually have the opportunity to sleep in. But lucky me... not only did my body clock wake me up at 7am this morning, but also my housemate playing some sort of HORRIBLE music as loud as possible at around 7:30 erased the possiblity of me going back to sleep. She obviously didn't realise I was home 'cos she was singing loudly as well.
After lying in bed for a few more hours, and reading a bit more of this excellent book* I'm going through at the moment (The Autumn Castle by Brissie author Kim Wilkins) I went back to the dentist to have the little bit of filling that had chipped away refilled. The anaesthetic was naaaaasty and actually numbed MUCH more than it was supposed to and then took 4 hours longer than it should have to wear off. Doctors always get it wrong for me cos I'm so small. Anyhoo I had an interesting time (all while feeling like I was drooling) feeling that numbed-up feeling once again, being unable to talk properly and burning myself on a cup of coffee among other things...stupid idiot.... It's such a cooool feeling and I had a lot of fun hehehe
After the nice dentist experience a friend and I went to have massages.I am not ashamed to say they were THE most horrible massages both of us had ever had; which sucked because we had been realllly looking forward to it. Personally, I've had better massages from people who don't know what they're doing, and even they don't leave a great fucking massage oil slick on you afterwards. Not only that, but then they tried to book us both in for another one in a fortnight. Needless to say we both passed on the offer.
* I am running out of books to read. If you can recommend anything good, let me know. I prefer fantasy (esp the vamp/supernatural types) but will read just about anything as long as it is written well and easy to read. Note to you - I thought The DaVinci Code was the most terrible book ever. *shrugs*. Maybe I AM weird.

Umm I have kinda come to a brick wall when it comes to the fantasy genre probably read too much of it as a teen and now it is hard to find something that I feel is both original and a good read.. I guess I can only say that if you haven't read the Memory, Sorrow and Thorn series by Tad Williams then they are worth picking up at least when I read them they were again could be a different story now.
