[Good News]: I got cast for an Industrial video and requested for an Independent Film audition
[Bad News]: They're on the same day
[Good News]: The Former's in the morning, the latter is in the afternoon.
[Bad News]: The Industrial shoot runs long, and they didn't account for us in their lunch order.
[Good News]: I'm able to cobble together a lunch from craft services and I'll be making more money for the extra time.
[Bad News]: I'm late for the audition, It's on the 6th floor of a building w/ elevators that require a key code that nobody on the 1st floor seems to be able to help out with, and there's no contact number I can call.
[Good News]: I find an audition for another Independent Film and they run their audition more professionally.
[Bad News]: My Grandpa apparently had heart attack (there weren't any signs for 2-3 days) and it shocked his system enough that it'll be awhile before he comes home (if at all)
[Good News]: He's doing better, just moved from the cardiac ward yesterday. While he recovers, I get more freedom (only have to take care of the house and his dog).
[Bad News]: There's enough uncertainty that I can't really make long term plans.
[Good News]: A cute girl I've been chatting with on OkCupid agrees to meet up in person and volunteers several days/times she'd be available.
[Bad News]: I have to forgo the first option because it coincides with the potential callback for the independent film.
[Good News]: She accept my plan to meet on Wednesday for lunch.
[Bad News]: She messages me today with a 'heads up' that she "did meet someone in the last few days" in case that affects me wanting to meet her.
Yup, this is pretty much par for tthe course that is my Life - Enough luck that I can't really complain that I'm unlucky, but not enough luck that I can be proactive and not feel like Life isn't slapping my wrist and saying 'No!'

Update: They went to add a couple stents to my Grandpa's heart, but he past away on the operating table. At least he's free of pain now.
