I got my first bit of film work about a month ago, you can read more about it here.
Tartuffe had a pretty successful run. Aside from the $150 in grant money that our director got us, we each got an extra $200 from 'passing the hat'. Plus, I managed to get through the run without getting assaulted

Another regime change at work (for those keeping score, that makes about 7 managers in 3 years). My boss quit about a month and a half ago, with my assistant manager following two weeks later. My new boss is pretty nice and we should be getting an ASM next week, so things should stabilize before the meat of the holidays.

I got my new glasses. They're a little heavier than my old ones, but I like 'em. Though, when I went to pick them up (I'd waited until both pairs were done), one pair was completely wrong (flexible w/ rectangular lenses instead of round lenses & clip-ons) - apparently there had been a typo on the paperwork. So, I had to make a special trip out there to pick them up.

I got a clean bill of health from my physical - my doctor even commented on my strong heartbeat by pointing out that you could see my pulse at my ankle. After some searching (I couldn't find it lying down), I showed him the lump - he said he wouldn't be concerned (like I figured), but gave me some tips to keep in mind in it changed or I found something similar in the future.

I've had to put the apartment search on hold ( Retail + Holidays + Moving = 
). We had found a place but, the week we were supposed to move in, my brother-in-law (who lives in an adjacent apartment complex) told me about a neighbor's daugher who was followed and how he was concerned about the increase in crime (especially gang activity) in the area (a fact recently corroborated by an ex-Freddy's co-worker). Needless to say, I figured I could find a better place. I'm keeping an eye open and will resume a more active search with the new year.

I'm enjoying my dance classes, when I can fit them into my schedule. Just my luck that, this term, they went from being mostly morning classes to after noon. As such, I'm mostly taking Latin dance this time around (just finished the portion dedicated to Salsa), occasionally getting some swing too.
