Time for another Update...
Made it throught 2005 in tact. Definitely an interesting year for my family...
While going through labor for my new Nephew Malakai, my sister got a screwy Epidural - her leg went numb for a couple weeks. She lost the ability to walk (or, at least, was sufficiently hampered), but she seems to be recovering...
During one of my Grandma's Manic phases, a vulture that's been circling for a while and bought up their Oceanside Beach house. I haven't been to it in several years, but it was always comforting to know it was there.
My Murder Mystery went off well, and I even got to do another one last Saturday. The first was a Scamania Lodge, though we got a flat on Windy I-84 on the way there and ended up there a little later than we'd have liked.
The Second was at the Hilton downtown and was set in the roaring 20's. I popped off to Value Village and bought myself a turtleneck and a couple vests, so I'd have something more period to wear.
Fairly profitable, but that's partially because our direct managed to get us a little extra each time...
My main resolution for this year is to Move Out. I was gonna do it last year, but the whole jaw debauchel set me back financially. The dust is mostly settled though, so it's mostly just a matter of at least getting back to that $3,000 in savings so I can cover set up and a few months back-up rent (for in case things go wonky).
I wouldn't mind dabbling in relationships, but I just don't see that seriously happening while I'm stuck living with my folks...
I'm pretty well used to my braces now, I'm able to do some light biting now (as opposed to the minimal tearing), 'course that might go away again when I get my first adjustment next week. I just went in today to get spacers around my crown (so I can get a band around it). I still have to avoid sticky/chewy/crunchy things though...
I'm sniffin' about, tryin' to find myself an agent and somebody to get a decent headshot from - my old one just isn't gonna cut it anymore. So, hopefully I can get my acting career goin' a bit better - now that the holidays are over (ahh, the joy of retail)...
I'm starting back up my Tango Lessons tomorrow. I was gonna pop into Rachel's PSU classes - but haven't been lucky enough with my schedule as of yet. I just hope my moves haven't gotten too stale over the Christmas break...
