When I'm out at the grocery store or wherever, I like to compliment the cashiers. I guess I do this b/c little compliments or nice remarks made to me out of the blue really stick with me and help me feel good. Also it always reminds me of this quote I have in my quote book. It goes something like. "as we get older and wiser we realize that kindness is synonymous with happiness". I've been asked before if I live my life on any type of philosophy. I don't know, but I have given answers to that question which included a few quotes from my quote book and that particular quote being one of them. Others including lies beget lies and and you have to have a good memory to lie, so I don't bother, free will doesn't exist, the people I meet the more I like dogs, and various others. Yeah, so, I think I might put a few of those up on my myspace page. Anyway, the reason I was thinking of this stuff was b/c of the other night a few friends made me feel really good just by saying some little things out of the blue. So thank you so much Amanda and Megze. Amanda is fun to hang out with. I like our conversations. Kinda sucks she's leaving. Megze rocks and I'm happy she's thinking about moving to Stapleton, not only b/c she'll be closer and we can hang out more but also cuz she'll be out of that crappy neighborhood. Oh and that reminds me, I don't like Tokyo Joes anymore. The only thing I eat there is the boulder veggie bowl and I'm sick of it. Eh.

So since the Scottish games in snowmass village were cancelled, , I may not compete until next year. I'll try to set up a road trip to Rio Rancho or Tucson, but that may be tough considering so much is going on in Oct and I need to get home and visit Kimmus in November. Well, maybe the Tucson one is doable. The last summer series autocross is Oct 7th during the day. There should be a few winter ones in the springs and at DIA, so I'll try to make those. But other than that I guess I can concentrate on eating and getting big for next seasons Scottish games. Eating enough is tough, especially when you don't care for eating so much. I'm making an effort to figure out how many calories are in each thing I eat again and I figure I'll try to put down close to 3500-4000cals a day. Eh.

I have this feeling that there is a lot more to Denver than I realize. I want to take a weekend day sometime soon and just explore some of the downtown area. I haven't done that in a while, since Pittsburgh and I guess the times I visited NY and Toronto. I'm sure there are tons of little shops and cute stores and junk that I'll never see unless I go exploring.

I like my tongue ring a lot. Little things that bother me though are when I'm eating, its tougher to maneuver food around or out of places without opening up my mouth or pulling on the piercing. I think I realized the other day that when people said about touching the tongue to the nose they meant to the bridge of the nose, not the tip. And then I realized, oh!, I can do that. .And then I realized that I can't any longer cuz there's a ball in the way. Good things are that I don't chew my cheeks anymore, not that it was that bad, but it was a habit. And, I don't spit anymore. Well, just to spit. So those are good. Plus, its just fun to have the balls in my mouth to play with whenever. You know?

I have a haircut appt this Friday I think. I may have to get it colored again. Like put some more blonde and maybe some red in it again. I don't know how that will work with my chops now.

I've been working on putting together a new family crest for myself. I'm taking the English or German perry crest and putting it together with the Scottish mcdowell crest. I need to verify those are absolutely my family crests and junk and then I'll solidify the combo and have the colors black and pink and make a patch out of it and put it on the new kilt I'm going to have made. Oooo, and that reminds me. I really doubt I'm going to buy that pink 85 VW. I think what I'll prolly do is find out more about building up my car to do better and possibly compete for the top ten places in each race. That will prolly take a while and some money so it will become a hobby as I originally planned it to be. Just for fun and not that big of an investment. I'll just pay off my car within the next six months or so and then decide then, if he still has it to sell, what I want to do. And that reminds me, I use to say I didn't have a favorite color. I guess that's not entirely true. I love pink and grey/black together.

AJ has been trying to get me to ask girls out at the gym, and in general I guess, but especially at the gym, either at her Bally's or at others when we go there once in a while. I always had this problem with asking girls out at the gym, especially if I see them there a lot. But there are a few girls I've seen in the past weeks that I don't see often so maybe. And if it's at a Bally's I only go to once in a great while, yeah, I guess. AJ got flowers the other day from some secret admirer. She's having problems with her boy and it looks like if this secret admirer turns out to be someone cool or the guy who hit on her from 24hr fitness keeps at it, the boy will be getting the boot. I think that will be good for her. She needs someone more motivated and financially stable and career oriented I think. Especially if he's into the personal training.

The harvest festival was awesome. I was so happy to see and hang out with so many good people. Brandy rocks for setting that up. Good times. When I visit Ramby I head up I70 and then towards boulder on 270 and get off of Vasquez blvd. Well, usually, when I get close to vasquez blvd, it stinks so I decided to hit the button in my car that made the air circulate only inside. Well when I went up for the harvest fest, I couldn't smell the exit, so I passed it by and had to go turn around a few miles down the road. I did that the other night too when I visited. Haha. Commerce city. Geesh.

Seneca and I have been getting to the park more regularly again. We got to go last night too. I made her this new toy that she just loves. It's a long rope that I put three tennis balls on the end of so I can throw it for her and she can play tugowar with. I even got her to pull it with this little terrier on the other end for a little bit. Put it didn't last long. The little terrier weighed less than the sticks Seneca usually tosses around.

I belong to like what ? like eleven groups on SG. And I only ever check two on a consistent basis.

I found an alice in wonderland drawing the other day I'd consider getting as a tattoo. hmmm.

And that reminds me. Anybody know marimoon. I think she's rockin cool.

I think I'm going to try to get a poker night going at my place this Friday. Anybody I don't usually invite who wants to come, let me know. The more the merrier.

Went to that place with the people who check on the things after I gave them my stuff. They said no things but to come back in a month to check again and if I go out in the rain wear a raincoat just in case until next time.

So I got a new phone the other day cuz my phone went tits up and so cingular sent me a new one the next day. Everything is great now except I can't sent pics to SG anymore. Something happened. I didn't set that up so I need someone to show me or do it for me again. So sorry no new pics of Seneca this blog.

EDIT: I figured it out on my own. But thanks for the offer Daniel. Here is Seneca with her new toy at the park. It was tough getting her still with it. This week has been awesome weather. I really should get out to the park in the morning or sometime before/after work. Geesh.






So I really need to get working on my halloween costume. I've already told too many people what I'm going to do. I plan on going thrifting this weekend to find stuff for it. But now I have at least two party's on the schedule and I figure I'll do the two costume deal. I may just do last years for one party then the new one for the other. Two totally new costumes will just be too much for me I think. Plus I really like last years.
