I managed to get all my sewing done for this morning, now all I have left to do is an artist statement defending my work. Artist statements have to be the worst things to write in the world, really. I can barely wrap my head around the ideas that inspire my work leave alone write a one page statement on it. I mean, the whole reason I create in the first place is because I've got a question and the whole "creating" stint is an attempt to answer that question.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, Can't my work just speak for itself? Waahhh!
I woke up at 6am with the intent to shower, eat a decent breakfast and finish this statement before heading to the train. I've got too much work on my plate right now. Sometimes I wish I didn't love my work so much because this sacrificing of my sleep/life is getting a little old. Heh.

And I know you don't really wish you didn't love your work so much, because if you did, you might end up like me with a 3/4 done novel. ,) (Admittedly, I do love that book and I want to see it done--now I just need oto figure out a way to do it.)
