After my ablutions i did recieve a telephone call from Steven requesting my help with the 'decorating commitee',i was to meet amobia & go with him to the ball venue and lay decorations,we strung up balloons & streamers of black & gold as the band made ready..we had finished just as the first guests arrived.
The Men looked dashing in their suits of many hues & cuts & the Woman were Beautiful beyond words in gowns of leather & lace ,again,of many colors..the band struck up & played a merry tune as we Danced & drank,light glinted of sequins & piercings as tattooed flesh flashed by ,Overcome by such intoxicating sights i went outside to cool my frenzied mind & did walk among the gardens..i came apon, TheFuckOffKid , DisputedReality & Aaronsrod and did make merry with them,upon re entering the ball i did share a dance with Janemillicent and then Brainstorma respectivly..
Eventualy the ball ended & we made out way by cab to town and an Irish Inn,where we did drink & dance some more..by this time it was quite late & we headed back to our various lodgings,en route i did enjoy an apperitife in the rooms where Blacklamb was staying,but due to my tiredness i soon left & away to bed i went ( thus missing hotspa shenanigans)
Sunday dawned and i bid farewell to my inn keep,thus i made my way to Brunch on the shores of the lake with such folk who could make it..was a treat to see ContessaKatarina & her Beau who are newly engaged
Mid afternoon i made my goodbyes & headed into the town to catch my Omnibus back to Sydney..here ends my adventures in Canberra at the first SGAU ball..it was a blast people..thank you to all for attending & helping make one hellava night & thanks to Steven for organizing it all..roll on 2007..yeeehawwwwww ..
In other news ,my friend Willow has gone to perth for a month,then she comes back for a week & then back to perth again for a month
but i did find somwhere that sells Garlic Bagel crisps which is good

A broch is an ancient building - you find ruined ones all over Scotland and some rebuilt ones as well. We've got loads of them in Caithness!
