Rock Is The New Roll
...I have no idea what that title even means...
Today i went with Tom and Aimee to Los Angeles, down to Melrose. My main purpose was to make sure Tom bought suitable attire for our show, which is a little over a week away. He bought a cool velvet suit jacket, which is very Jarvis Cocker; and he also bought one of those all-too-cool short-collared leather motorcycle jackets that are the rage with all the kids. But he ended up spending most of his money on his girlyfriend. Ah, but what is a fella to do, I suppose.
I also got an awesome Mod Target ashtray as an early birf-day present, from a lovely girl, who hand-made it. Thank you, lovely girl!!!!!!!!! xoxo.
Later on, there was band practice. Although we only practiced for a bit, it went exceptionally well; we even fine-tuned a few minor glitches in some the songs. Afterwards Sam and I flyered around town, carefully dodging da coppas as they drove by (since we were glueing them everywhere we could, which is considered vandalism, ya know).
And that was my day. Another exciting installment. Stayed tuned for tomorrow, when i go to work and then repeat steps 3-4...nitey.
