Well, I weekend...was not very cool.
Friday I got a really bad toothache, and a headache. Most of the night was spent clutching my head and waiting for the pain to subside enough that suicide didn't seem like such a viable option. Finally, thanks to the help of my new friend, Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey, I was able to at least enjoy the hillarity of the Family Guy 2nd Season DVD at my friends' house(Jesus Hulk!!!).
Saturday - I did NOT go to Inland Invasion. I did NOT see some of my favorite bands of all time, performing together in one glorious day. How the heel do you THINK my day went??? Instead me & Sam went to the Hub in Fullerton, where there were losts of cute girls, and video games to play, and bed emo bands to listen to. It was decent fun, driving and listing to music and drinking Jack & Cokes (which is rapidly becoming my latest addicition). But then, things went sour when we went to some sucky party, and ended up staying until 6:30 in the morning (Sam and I are huge masochists I think).
Sunday - Went to bed at 8AM, woke up at 4:30PM. I did not feel too hot. Sat around for a bit, then went to the band practice. After that, Sam, Ben, and I went to the Falconer. Saw lots of people. Got really drunk. Went home. Drunk. Enjoyed hearing about Inland Invasion from my brother. Enjoyed being drunk at home. Thought about certain people, and wishing I was hanging out wit them . Thought about maybe cutting back of the booze intake. Passed out.
And there you have it.
Tonight the Pretty Scars are playing the Scene in Glendale, and then Thursday we're playing the Knitting Factory. My stomach is all screwed up...I think it's nerves. It's weird; I've been performing on stage in some form or another since I was eleven years old, and yet I still always get nervous. Hmmm. Who knows...
