Has anyone spent significant time in Texas (not counting Austin)? Can someone redeem its cultural value for me, eh? I'm a snob of a Yankee, I'll be the first to admit - and being car-less and trapped in the 'burbs has only solidified my attitude toward Tay-has: a buncha friggin' hicks.
