On some level, I truly love anyone who reads my journal on SG. Its so nice to read your comments kiss

On another note - heres a quote from some SPAM I got yesterday. Its like some haiku, only without the right structure, so I guess its NOT a haiku, but still wink

"The greatest gift is a portion of thyself.
A snake lurks in the grass."...

denimdemon, hmm... I dig. It kinda says: Ladies, if you're wearing tight jeans, watchout!

As for my dental experience, my mouth is still sore, but tolerable, at least. blackeyed

Today is supposed to be in the upper 90's. I'm going to spend the day with thurmis at Chicago's Annual Fat Fest where for ten days millions of people squish together in high heat to consume gross amounts of over priced food items. good times.

Hope your day is equally exciting. smile

Thanks!!!

Yeah, Denim Demon is much sexier. Speaking of denim, I have my first Turbojugend meeting soon! We're going Denim Bowling, it's gonna be sweet. (I hope my jacket will be here by the time.)

We went to one drag race and one hill-climb event. Madness.

I ljust had strawberry icecream. I saw a great Simpsons episode today. I smoked cubans and nosed drugs all night last night. I meet the sweetest girl. She left. I brought some cognac to an afterparty. More cubans. More cognac. Kids with red plastic toy trumpets went berserk outside my window this morning. I am happy. From tomorrow till sunday Im gonna work 13 hrs/day,...

mmmmmm... Simpson's! Which episode?

So, you're curious about my sexy, sexy soulmate, are you? He is quite dashing, ain't he? He saw me and he followed around everywhere on this particularly brisk Autumn day. After a while his charm and mistique wore on me and now I dream passionately about my Elephant-monster-man nightly. It gets me so hott! We all have monsters in our pasts. Right? EL SUICIDO LOCO

Oh, BTW why don't you post some more pics (where's your soulmate?) And I want to know where I can get a Herring Latte or perhaps a Cod-achino!

mmmmm... elephant!
oxalis:
hi darling.

happy weekend.

Sorry my dream-boat/ soulmate gives you the willies. But the more you look at him, the less odd he appears. (see for yourself, really!!)

So, I only had a couple caps the other night... despite quite a bit of mid-week madness, I managed to keep them to myself. Basically, the boyz I was with were pretty much clueless to my indulgences. That doesn't mean it wasn't a nutty night.

I'm quite sad right now as it is Friday night and I have to work tomorrow. (*actually, it's really early on Saturday morning and I have to work later on today.) ugh! The only thing on the tube is elimadate, thus I'm turning it off and going to bed. Have you witnessed the horrors of elimadate in Norway? I hope for your sake, not.

What about you- what are you doing this weekend? Do you think you could ever get past my deep love and affection for the elephant man? If you look at his photo, I'm sure you'll find him irresistable soon enough. skull

slowly slowly slowly the sun is warming stuff up. And slowly slowly it shines till late at night, and gets up at 05:00. And slowly slowly all the darkness from winter lets up, and little birdies tweet-tweet-tweet around my head. OK, maybe not yet, but its coming along fine so far.

I started an adbusters chapter in my town couple years ago. Now it has...

hey pussy-kat.
those are jerry garcia's lyrics. they felt appropriate this weekend.

well, happy almost-Norway Day! gosh, I barely know a thing about Norway. I imagine lotsa fish and boats and water-stuff. how's your economy? Are there Starbuck's on every corner yet, or just every other corner? Do they sell Herring Lattes? What about drug laws, unemployment, average temps... I bet you are much nicer to your environment there.
Oh, very interesting to read you're involved in Adbusters. I was a long time subscriber and always tried to get hooked with other Chicago jammers, but alas, poor organization and lack of follow through is the curse of so many grassroots organizations. frown

My heart is as big as everything today. Now Im going outside to test it. *fingers crossed*

All I can think about is which TV quote amma gonna waste space with today. Maybe thisun from National Geagraphic: "...but the Mandrill has a darker side... That of a carnivore..."
Its gonna loop in my head for a few days, only to be replaced with something similarly superfluous and disturbing.

And: I want to be in the Cre ca. 1985. I want to bonk...

"The armored Chevy Suburban is the perfect vehicle for fighting crime in Ogden"

The things you learn from Discovery Channel...
oxalis:
In what context was that quote on the Discovery Channel?

So, to answer your question... I'm really enjoying SG. I don't have internet access at home, so it limits my exposure a bit. I just had a new neighbor move in this weekend and I'm hoping (against odds) that he'll hook up an unsecure connection or be friendly enough to share his password. If not, that will be my last straw before I breakdown and cough up the $$ for a conncetion (and the landline it requires).

I'm really excited to have a little on-line book club with you when you get Jenna's bio. Keep in touch and have a good week! smile
