I'm floating on air.
Not only did I just get back from The Rocky Horror Picture Show with the BEST of company and the most interactive, involved audience members in front of me, but I have discovered that Krys has painted my portrait. If you haven't seen it, go look at Krys's profile and her artwork. She has a bucket full of talent.
Thanks so much dollface, you've made my Hallowe'en!

After looking at it all day I have decided to turn it vertical and not horizontal. It's better that way, less like a reclining pose and more like the viewer is standing above the subject. This does all sorts of great things to enhance the Figurative Expressionist nature of the painting. Sorry, I don't know if that is too much artspeak, but I just wanted to give you a heads up because I'll be posting it again on the journal this way soon.
I hope you have a great evening and I thank you again for letting me paint you to begin with. Talk with you soon.
