kfc is nasty when it comes to animal rights. bleah!
i went to green cuisine a couple of times when i first came to visit victoria, before i moved here. i also applied there when i was looking for a job, but apparently it's not a great place to work (which i can believe).
the icecream i made is from a recipe in "how it all vegan" (and if you don't have a copy, i highly recommend you get one -- as well as the second book, "the garden of vegan"... they're my vegan bibles). it's as follows:
1/4 cup soy milk
5 tbsp oil
1 banana, chopped
1/4 cup sweetener
2-3 tsp instand coffee powder
in a food processor, blend all ingredients together until smooth and creamy. place in a sealable container and freeze. remove and defrost for 20-40 minutes, then blend again. spoon back into container and freeze. defrost 5 minutes before serving.

when i made the chocolate-banana, i substituted cocoa for coffee powder and used a full 3 tsp. i also put in a few tablespoons of maple syrup and some extra sugar. there's a recipe for chocolate ice cream in here, too, but it requires soft or silken tofu and i didn't have any. i also just used a blender, not a food processor.
