So Winter is getting into full swing here in Canada. How do I know this? NHL season has started - don't laugh, it's true. Once the season starts, we're lucky if old man winter stays away for a few weeks... he did, and after 9 1/2 weeks, snow is here to stay!
Speaking of 9 1/2 weeks... that was a fun movie. That might have dated myself.
Tonight is our companies winter wrap up. Working a seasonal job, we tend to call it quits when the snow starts. People get laid off, and go back to their homes/countries or travel like moi. So, since this is the start of the end for the next few months for me. I'll have plenty of free time. I'm open to any travel ideas :) I'll live vicariously thru you, or you can live vicariously through me. I've been to Europe before. South America is sorta being planned for next year with some co-wokers. One of the guys I work with used to live in Kenya, so he's mainly organizing a trip where we go on a safari and see Kenya. So that sorta leaves more of North America, all of South America, Australia and Asia to visit. Any recommendations?
Oh, I suppose the new things in my life should be updated! I have an almost 3 month old son. He's big! Not chunky really, but he's gonna be a big boy. He was born almost 2 feet in length and 8lbs 10oz's and was a week and a half early! He's a lot like me. Mellow, chill and laid back. Likes to eat, sleep and repeat... lol... yeah, a lot like me, lol! He's an adorable little gaffer. At 3 months, he's wearing 5-6 month old clothing... that's mainly why I think he'll be a big kid growing up.
