Snowboarding at Mt. Baker this weekend with some friends, should be fun. I've never been state side to snowboard but I'm finding it's cheaper than hitting the hills in Canada, which is sad for me Keep people posted on the conditions (though from the report I read, there is lots of powder and still over 3m in base).
Also might hit up the Taboo Sex Show that is in Abbotsford on my way back, which should still be running. Interesting to see if there is any differences between this one and the shows in Edmonton, AB which I've been to. If anyone else is going, let me know, maybe I'll see you there. If I don't run into you, have fun
I have just over a week left in my vacation in BC. It's been a blast thus far, from celebrating my birthday downtown, shopping, seeing old friends, meeting new people and finally tasting real Indian Food. Now, yes, there are East Indian Food places in Edmonton, but not like out here! This is good stuff, and I don't think I can ever go back to what I'm served in Edmonton... this might make me a slight snob, but I'll survive. So far, best food was in a joint in Langley, very close to the Colossus Theater, right off the Trans Canada Highway. I recommend stopping by if you're on your way into Vancouver. The food was phenomenal, and the service was fantastic. I'm also learning that I could survive without snow on my personal property for the rest of my life I could manage being a "fair weather" type guy. This may make me a "wuss" in my friends eyes, but I'll survive. Especially with my frequent text messages back home asking them how the snow is treating them while I have none and could go outside in short sleeve shirts and jeans. Now to avoid tomato's being thrown at me, I'll stop with the sunshine bit, and say adios and have a good weekend!
