Today, learned the valuable experience of taking little kids to the water park! lol... I'm talking instant pass out and immediate "quiet time" without fighting or complaining. Since it was Sunday, it was also really cheap since it was Sunday. After nap time, a little hide and seek and pretending to be a dinosaur and then lights out for the day! LOL! It was lots of fun taking my god daughters to the swimming pool for the first time was an adventure. I've had friends who are life guards before, and I've heard the horror stories. I wanted to make sure I was not another story of some neglecting parent who allowed their kid to swim out of their sight line and then the kid needed to be pulled out of the water. I didn't think it happened lots, until one of my life guard friends said she pulled out 2-3 kids a week, only working 3 shifts a week! That's a startling number in my opinion. Good news, no kids drowned, neither of my god-daughters needed to be pulled out of the pool by a life guard, and everyone had lots of fun.
