* It feels like dying, it just feels like time to go*
Two months and counting until I move to Vancouver. The closer it gets, the more I think of that movie Click with Adam Sandler (which is a complete ripoff of a Jetsons episode by the way). I just want to fast forward these two months because I know they will be the hardest to push through. Every moment of life should be cherished, but when they're this fucking boring, and theres this much stress to your job and general preparation of the move, fuck it. I'll pass.
This time last year I was living on Vancouver Island, next to a mini orchard, within view of the ocean and one of the nicest beach areas I've seen, basking under the warm glow of the "Rod and Gun" pub across the street, and I'm pretty sure I was in the ocean one day in October or November.. not to say it's particuarly cold here yet, but I can feel that bitter prairie winter coming when I have to get up in the morning. I've only been back in Edmonton for about 6 months or so, and initially I figured coming back would be easier after having lived somewhere else for the first time in my life. Turns out that it's worse. I now hate this podunk prairie town even more. Not to insult anyone who lives here and likes it, it's just not for me. Everything here is so vanilla, alot of the people seem like they've just given up, and I'm surrounded by fields of grain and shit.
Yes, I'm a whiny bitch. but you read it, you can't unread it.
