Normal update I swear:
so I got out of bed this morning about 4:40 am...just woke up and got up...a little odd for me I normally wake up and lay there for a while before I get up...
I spent some time at My Space ...I just joined a bit ago..
So after I dragged my lazy ass away from the computer I straightened up a little around the house...I have pairs of shoes laying everywhere...Now that I have bought a dinning table it is a collection point for various shit...mostly stuff I buy at the store and have not put away yet...
Next I decided I need to do some physical exercise...I have a heavy bag in my garage(that I converted into home gym) and I keep telling myself that I am going to start doing some bag workouts, but I have been slacking...so today I did 3 2min rounds with 2min breaks in-between(yea that is a little soft, but I don't want to kill myself)...If you have never done a bag workout and think that 2min is some short period of time...you are wrong...2min is a long time...if you go all out on the bag you will be winded in about 30sec and then thinking to yourself...damn 1min 30sec to go...shit...I have been having the urge to get back into martial arts...but I know the commitment level that it requires and I not quite ready to do that again...maybe once this whole dating thing blows up in my face...
funny story about the first time I did a heavy bag work out...I think I did 6 or 8 2min rounds with 1min breaks in-between...I was wearing these open finger, padded gloves(made for sparing/grappling)...every time I hit the bag they would slide on my hands and rip some skin off...I kept going until my workout was done...my hands looked like hamburger meat and I had my blood all over that heavy bag...it took weeks for my knuckles to heal...this taught me the importance of open hand strikes on the heavy bag...I also stopped using padded gloves on the heavy bag...I now use just hand wraps...the moral of this story...I'm hard headed as fuck...
I should go for a run later today, but that is still up in the air...
Currently in the middle of putting some more lighting in my gym...had to stop to let my drill recharge...
Later today will be going over to maitressedemence 's place to play games and hang out...
I have way too much shit I should be doing around the house:
1. lighting in gym
2. I need to make a coat rack for my entry way
3. need to paint my downstairs
4. have some shit I need to put in the attic
5. I have a leak in a water pipe to the outside that I need to fix, but it requires massave tearing down of drywall...so for now I just leave the valve to that pipe closed...
6. I'm sure there is more, but it is not coming to mind
