I did something I normally don't do...I went to the store on black Friday...and it was not too bad...I think due to where I went...a craft store to get picture frames...I add some(2)pics of the pics I just hung in my living room...
anyway on with the meat of the update:
Wal-Mart is not the evil empire...
Hear me out before you judge that statement...
Wal-Mart is just a manifestation of our(Americans and increasingly other nationalities that want to be like us) values...
What does Wal-Mart say about our values:
1. We want to pay as little as possible for the goods that we buy...
2. We want uniformity...one Wal-Mart in Nebraska is the same layout as the one here in MD
3. we want convenience...what mom and pop store is open at 1am when you really need a new board game to play...b/c you are tired of the current game
4. We ARE willing to over look all the little things Wal-Mart does to give us what we want ... like child labor and a lot of the other not so nice things the big wigs at Wal-Mart do...
How can I make a statement like "We want"...plain and simple...Wal-Mart is Successful...numbers don't lie...If you can make a statement to the effect of "none of my friends shop at Wal-Mart"...then I say to you that you live in a bubble(a protected environment not representative of the statistically average American lifestyle)
It is we who are evil(or at least not so good) not Wal-Mart...think about it...
If you think I'm wrong on this please let me know...you will not hurt my feelings...

Someone's gotta sacrifice. I am fine with it being me. Bring on the inconvenience and the clear conscience.
