So the official results are in...Results
I'm #22
over all time 14:01:27
swim 2.4 miles in 1:33:30
T1 in 8:55
bike 112 miles 7:40:19
T2 in 10:38
run 26.2 miles in 4:28:07
what does all this mean...I am IM...I could not resist the play...
on 16 October 2004 I went to NC to test what I was made of...the test started off at 7am and did not end until 9pm...the results...I'm made of Iron...
if you have no clue what I'm talking about then just ask...
I finished 100th of the 140 males that finished the race...yea I may be slow, but I got my metal...
I had a panic attack on the swim and thought my race was over in about 10min, but I stuck with it and got though the attack...the bike was long and a little windy, but nothing too bad...I had to stop eating gels at mile 50 and to liquid diet only b/c my tummy was not feeling well...the run for the most part was not that bad...at about the 7mile point I started walking the uphills and this helped me out a lot...at about the 13mile point I started drinking coke instead of Gatorade and this helped out a lot...when I finished the race I felt tired and somewhat dizzy, but not really all that bad...the next day I felt fine and today I just have a few sore spots here and there...all in all a great experience...
just remember: you can't make a day(one day) so hard that I can't get through it...
I'll most likely let this journal entry ride for a few days to a week....

Want to go to Rockville with me, Erin, and Misty?
Not 100% sure we are going, but I think it will happen.
Also if we go, it will be sometime around 2-4pm. The fabric shop closes at 9pm.
I will pick you up tomorrow morning.
