My internet is so painfully slow that I may throw it through the window soon. I've been blaming the snow for the last week or so but now it's all gone I think I may just have to face up to the fact that my interenet is useless. However, in the brief five minutes or so that it's working I though I'd make the most of it and come on here.

I hope everyone had a lovely christmas. Mine was great, though shortlived as I worked on both Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. Still, me and my mother decided to buy a Wii for us as our present to each other so there has been much Wii Fit-ing, in between eating copious amounts of chocolate (not sure the two are supposed to go together!)

I finish work tomorrow for a few days before starting a new job on Tuesday. Very excited, but equally nervous as this will be what I consider my first "proper" job, by which I mean one that is relevant to my degree and that I didn't just get because I knew someone that already works there! Still, I'm trying not to think about the nerves and just concentrating on having a few days off and enjoying New Year.

Hope everyone's well and has suitably overdosed on food and chocolate (yes, the two do count as separate groups!) Internet permitting, I do intend to be back over the next few days
