Weekly update time, although I'm a little late this week. It's been a heca busy weekend going to Nottingham and life just hasn't seemed to stop since I've been back.
Nottingham was awesome! Didn't think I would like it too much after almost all my mates carried on about it being the 'murder capital' of the UK but it's quite a grrovey place! Hell of a lot more to do and places to go than where I live or where I've lived since I've moved to this country. Fair play I haven't lived in London and I'm not that far away from it but I find London a little too much to cope with on the long term.
Anyway, back to Nottingham. Well, I drank waaaayyyy too much but held my own! No again this week. I may be relearning the art of drinking. My mate took me to their little rock type haunts, which were all really cool! Didn't feel like Is tuck out and achieved a vague sense of anonymity for once which I really enjoyed. No pointing fingers and prodding fingers and people trying to wipe wet fingers on my art work to see if it's real. It was blissful. The only attention I got was from the people I was with and a couple who were interested in where I had my work done and such.
Went to the infamous Rock City! Hoorah!! It too was very cool from what I remember. I also fell over and twisted my ankle, bruised my backside and hurt my hand. So ended up sitting for the remainder of the evening. Ended up being a good thing as I actually had a chance to chat to the new people I had met up with.
I also seem to have kind of bagged me a new man out of the trip. My friend that I went up to see. We got along so well that by the end of the evening we just sort of got it together and been in a lot of contact since. He's planning to come down and see me in a couple of weeks! Yay! Guess the crappy ending with the policeman I was very taken with was for good reason!
Needless to say we didn't make it into Nott's town on Sunday. Rather spent the day curled up in bed and watching dvd's. It was blissful.

I do like Nottingham, although I've never been to Rock City. I must go one of these days.
I am feeling much better now. My last journal was definately an over reaction but the way I was feeling, it just came out that way. But thanks for support. Everyone was so nice, it cheered me up a lot
