So, a good friend of mine is off to Whistler, Canada tomorrow. Had a little leaving gathering last night at the usual gathering place in Reading. Was really good seeing everyone as I don't get to go over there as often as I would like. What with college and work and such it's been a bit tough to stay in touch. But I will try harder this year!
He's going for about three and a half months or so. Unless he gets a sponsorship. Then he'll be staying out there for as long as he can. I hope he gets a sponsorship but at the same time don't want him to be gone so long. Don't know how his girlfriend copes as he flits off every year for a month or three. But he's apparently getting pretty good on a board. So, if anyone knows of anyone who is involved in snowboarding sponsorships?! I can give you his details! Oh yeah, pics of the evening in my pics album. Taken with my spiffy new digital camera! No more blurry pictures, just lots of people with red eyes as the flash looks like it was made for a much darker room! Scarily bright!
Was a weird evening though as I was in immense pain. Done something to my shoulder, I think from driving back from Yorkshire for seven and a half hours. Been a little bit dodgey and then excruciating ever since. On plenty of painkillers (which make me a little bit floaty) and anti inflammatory's. Almost crashed my car on the painkillers! lol! Didn't realise how much they knocked me until I was driving! Luckily no casualties! Funny though!

hope it feels better soon
Glad to hear your shoulder was feeling better this morning. Or was it earlier this afternoon? I can't remember now.
