Random announcement...
Apparently Sassy's, the bar I'm dancing at is having a re-opening party on this Friday, October 6th. It's supposed to be a large employee party of sorts, but it's open to the public. I of course will be working, and was put on the flyer. If you're in Portland, you should come, it's going to be a big ass party!!!!! They're giving away a free trip to Vegas for two.
I love this time of year...
Portland is awesome for many reasons, but one of my favorite reasons is this.... every year around this time, Portlanders are ready for Halloween. Many have seasonal decorations already up half way through September. Halloween also lasts for about 2 weeks here. It's an epic party. I'm super excited this year. I'm assuming I will be working part of those weeks, but the other nights I will have free for total party down time. I've elected to go as a number of characters this year, but am saving my Bettie Page costume for the biggest night of all.

Puppy update!!!
Chello is going very well after her much needed spaying surgery. She had what the doctors were calling "systic ovaries", meaning that she was always swollen and in heat. She never bled, but was always swollen up like she was going to. So we finally had to just put her under the knife.. or laser, because apparently they do that shit with lasers now. And she's doing well.. except for yesterday and today, she's been doing a little vaginal bleeding. Out her vagina.. not her stitches. So we have to take her in yet again today to get it checked out.
The little one, we named Tala, and she's adjusting well. We were having problems with her peeing on our bed, so we decided crate training would be the best for her. She's doing much better in the last few days we've been using the crate. They are playing together like crazy and couldn't be happier.
This has been a completely random blog, and have no answer to why that is. I suppose my life is pretty random at this point. Until next time...
