1.) The boy's band has their CD available for pre-sale. You can purchase the full length debut album by clicking this link!. I am SO EXTREMELY PROUD of my man's band. I can't believe all that they have accomplished in a years time, and know that they will do amazing things. If you'd like to check out their music, you can listen to 4 songs from the album at their MYSPACE! CLICK CLICK!.
2.) State Farm, who does my car insurance.. sent me a little letter today. And instead of the bill for my upcoming car insurance due date.. they sent me a dividend check, for $109. Amazing. I love it. I'd like to get refunds for paying too much sometimes. You know... like if you paid for a meal, and the server says.. "oh no, the meal was totally over rated, here's $10 back." You can imagine how awesome this is. Thank you car insurance gods. I love you.
3.) I started Carmen Electra's Stripperobics DVD's. I can say that Carmen exudes sexyness. Sometimes I think that some women were just cut out to be exotic dancers. Some women are just so fucking hot, that it is a public service for them to be naked. Yay for Carmen. Thank you for being sexy. She's a nymph too, you can see it in her eyes.
4.) I've received word that I'm going to be rooming with the unbelievable Taye and super amazing Odette at Hell City. I can't wait to see those ladies, and the many others who will be there as well. Not to mention get some more ink added to my canvas.
5.) When I came home today, my Chello (baby chihuahua) was asleep in our laundry basket. How am I supposed to live in reality when I have this amazingly cute anime dog to keep my attention? AGH. SO fucking cute.
6.) Time now kids, for Pistolita's movie pick
I watched Mel Gibson's Apocolypto last night. I can say I was a little blown away by how dark the movie was... there was too much animal cruelty, and some things in the movie that were just down right shocking and unnecessary. However, for as many brutal moments, there was enough stunning imagery that kept me locked into the story. Not to mention, the actors were beautiful, and the costumes were amazing, so you get hooked on the story almost immediately. I'm tickled to see a story about Central American civilizations.... because that's a topic that hasn't been bastardized yet. It was very good.. but like I said.. I felt it a little over the top. I'm surprised at Mel's use of Illuminati references. The moral of the story is based around fear, and how fear can bring down an entire civilization. I felt it had a lot of references, subliminal references to today's way of life. If you're looking for a movie to check out, you may want to see this one. Gorey, but beautiful. Over-the-top, but tasteful.
Besos y pesos! Much love amigos.
