My roommate and I made chocolate chip cookies last night, and it's made me really ridiculously happy. Three cheers for the college student diet! And for my newfound ability to bake things without setting off a fire alarm.
Clearly my social life here hasn't fully taken off, but classes start on Tuesday, so I suspect that things will become a little more eventful sometime soon. I hope so - leaving my dorm room only for groceries and gasper breaks has become a little depressing.

I remember the first couple months of Freshman year really sucking. I'm not a quick one to make friends usually either, so don't sweat it, you'll figure it out. Good luck with your first day of classes!
