I just installed a washing machine in my basement today! I can't even say how exciting it was to do laundry. But my dad and I need to figure out how to level the damn thing...when the spin cycle comes on, it knocks and shakes and dances across the floor. Very entertaining, but not so good for stability. I actually pulled up a lawn chair and watched my clothes being washed. Better than the Superbowl!...not like I watch that.

My garden, now finished, is lovely, tiny though it is. I hope I'm better at gardening than I am with houseplants. I am a houseplant hit woman. Never missed a kill.
