So, I find myself in an unusual pattern of self-destruction...
Been a pretty good week so far. Went out with the head chef of the company I work with over the weekend. Went to "LoDos" but the one that ain't LoDo. It was allright. We get in and get our first beer and who walks in but yet another company employee... Fun times tho.
Got the chain and sprockets changed out on G's bike so hopefully we'll get his up and running soon so I gots someone to ride with.
Went to a kick ass defensive pistol course today. Lots of fun and tons of info. A whole bunch of new stuff to practice as well. It was a great course with great info and lots of new 'tricks' and things to think about and practice. Well worth the 1 1/2 hours we were stuck (stopped) on the fucking freeway due to an accident. The police have their heads way up their arses when it comes to accidents. Fuck 'em.
Haven't changed much, still the lame ass wallflower as always. Much too cynical these days. Dire times when you doubt yourself. A few bad decisions will so that to ya, I guess. Relearning how to trust yourself is a bitch.
I got too much going on this weekend. Can't even remember all the shit I am supposed to do. Elise's bridal shower is Sat so Tony will be looking for something to do, G's gf Sarah has a grad party (gettin her masters) on Sat, then there's something else as well, the thing I can't remember. Might be a family thing or a bob thing, but I can't remember at the moment. Damn T3 and free radicals.
Well, it's late. I'm down bacause I'm lame and I know it and I started the 1st season of 24 yesterday and I hope to god people have more sense than that, especially chicks. If you've seen the show, PLEASE tell me you don't think like that! Even some of the guys... It always makes me wonder, is it just me? The main character is the only one making sense. The bad guys and the women are just not doing anything right and are being portrayed as stupid and incompetent. They all have their moments but I guess I am a bit too much of a realist to get into the "reality" of the situation or I haven't got the right mindset yet. Alias is awesome cause it's so fantastical but true to the reality it's based on. See it from the point of view it's written from and it's pretty realistic. Either I haven't figured out the 24 POV or I'm just fucked in the head. Great TV at it's worst...
