I can't describe this feeling, from the jungles of Panama to the bombed out palaces of Saddam Hussein. Strappin on boots and making shit happen, without much question, fear, or hesitation.

Say what you want about war, but I gotta tell ya today I'm feeling like having weapons and being in a war was kinda rad. Just to have a purpose. Mine was looking out for my mates, driving around a 90 mile radius of Baghdad working with construction engineers from all over the world. All support and humanitarian work. Never to seek and destroy, just carried weapons for self defense.

I'll never be the same, life is boring without explosions and helping poor kids. I feel like a vegetarian tiger, a coiled snake, a declawed wolverine. All my abilities and instincts are useless around slow, fat, and arrogant Americans. "Work smarter, not harder" a soldier saying. It's a decent life, when you aren't on missions, you chill out, exercise, shoot guns, throw knives, learn hand to hand.

This is all useless now. Now I just save civilians from stepping in shit, cook, play music... Lame. Being a rockstar isn't shit compared to what I was. I do stand out as I followed the way of the samurai, buddhism, and all life is precious and I never stray from my honor.
