I just have to articulate my loathing of who Justin Bieber is as a person. Apparantly in the last 24 hours, Justin Bieber and Orlando Bloom were in the throes of a shouting match in a club in Spain when Bloom took a swing at Bieber, who then fled the scene as onlookers applauded. Very appropriate response in my humble opinion.
Here's a guy who has taken a shit on the hand that feeds him time and time again. Canada cannot be proud of their most (in)famous export in years. As someone who must have at some point possessed at least enough talent to catch someone's eye (or ear), Justin Bieber is the perfect example of why fame is no longer a thing to be earned. It's rather something to be force-fed, seemingly at gunpoint, thanks to the TMZs and Perez Hiltons of the world. No longer satisfied with being the cute heartthrob, Bieber has done everything from public urination to public drug arrests, and now because they've apparantly "swapped" former girlfriends or something to that effect, he's now posting pictures of a weeping Orlando Bloom on his Instagram account. I have a stomach for most things "reality" such as Kim Kardashian, who makes herself out to be nothing more than just that, a reality tv star...and I also have no problem with any contestant on Big Brother, because hey, they know what they're getting into. However, in the case of Justin Bieber, he's supposed to be a singer...an entertainer. Hell, in the last year, I've heard no publicity regarding Justin Bieber that had anything to do with talent or anything resembling it. It's just been a barrage of press about this "bad boy" acting, for lack of a better term, like a FUCKING ASSHOLE.
That being said, it made me particularly sick the other night when, coming across a "Young Hollywood" awards show on the CW, this FUCKING ASSHOLE was at the microphone with a very young little girl, a "Make-a-Wish" kid, whose wish was apparantly to meet Justin Bieber. This cute little girl was obviously not old enough to understand what a piece of shit Justin Bieber really is. Perhaps she only knows him for his "talent." That would be bad enough, but guess what? She's better off than any of us.
