Well, this is my first blog voyage....and I gotta bitch about the weather. I'm a guy who really couldn't care less about doppler radar and all that...but perhaps I should consider that stuff like that is actually there to warn me about frigid temperatures and icy precipitation before it happens.
That being said, at least I'm not one of "those people" who never seems to own a snow shovel at the exact moment of the first significant snow. What do these people do with their snow shovels? Throw them away each spring in the hopes that we'll never see that fluffy white menace again? It really is amazing watching these morons stroll through the hardware section, eyes darting left and right, seeking out their weapon of choice in the war against Jack Frost. Although it really makes me wonder why exactly there isn't a mad rush on umbrellas every time we get a drop of rain. I guess because umbrellas are generally smaller and are appropriate to store next to the coathanger, whereas shovels are either banished to the garage, or, as I more likely suspect, grow legs and hop a train to wherever along with the missing socks from the dryer.
Thus ends my weather rant....more to come. Hope you liked it, and good luck finding your shovel.
