I love it when a book is so good that I can literally read for hours on end, often finishing said book in a day, if possible.
Ender's Game was that way. I sat in a bookstore for hours and read the whole damn thing. I felt sort of guilty afterwards, like I should buy it even though I finished it, mostly because it was so good, but partially because a bookstore's not a library. But I didn't have the cash. *shrug*
I'm reading Franny and Zooey now, and not only can I just keep reading that until something distracts me, but it also puts me into a weird, kind of peaceful, kind of antisocial, introspective mood. That's nice sometimes, because usually I'm very high-strung and out there.
If only the books I'm supposed to be reading for my creative writing class were like this.

My reading habits are so bizarre! I read at least eight books at a time and if i really love a book I parcel out pages so that I don't have to leave that world too fast--unless it's non-fiction. I gobble those.
