I have little to add, I just lack the patience required to drop the following image in the perfect thread at the perfect time. Context would rule, but it works on it's own:

Also I has a job. I start on monday at 6:45 am. Not my normal shift. It's a part time gig, but it's a fortune 500 company that starts everyone at part time and pays well. I'll be making more hourly than I ever have. It's enough that with a minimum wage supplemental job to get me to 50 hrs/wk will get me the pay I was making in retail, but without having to work a single night or weekend. The job is with Grainger, they are a tool wholesaler (home depot but wholesale) and they are professional (thank god!) and so far I like the way they do business. I'll be doing warehouse/call-center work. They have a small boutique (yeah for tools) that I will start out at working the counter. I'll get tons of experience for the resume, and I was able to leverage my retail experience to get out of retail (like I was hoping to do)! I am excited. It's nice to finally put a big W one the board.
Speaking of big W's. I'll put another one on the board this friday, as Mylf and I have decided to go forward with the wedding despite life being the way it is. It's time to exercise some control over my fate and I can think of no better way to do it than by flipping life the bird and doing what I want. Spending the rest of my life with this woman is the biggest no brainer ever for me. If she has stood by me this far that's all I need to know about her and the depth of her love for me.
So I feel like my life has some momentum and is moving in the right direction and I'm sure the fucking hell going to keep pushing it forward.
Edit: Apparently I am cool enough to be on FTR's ignore list. Too bad I was going to send him this link for use in his next AFR. His loss.

Congrats on the wedding. And the job, for that matter. Shit, I wish I could land a job like that one; I'm toiling away at Barnes & Noble, lucky to get 30 hours a week. I've been working there since I was in high school, and now, with a college degree and as a current grad student, I'm still working there; something's not right about that....

Hi. I'm here for the boobs. I was looking around and there really is a group just about for everything. Congratulations on getting married.
