So yes. We had a storm.
Large oaks uprooted blocking the streets, basketball hoop with about 200 pounds of water in the base sent 10 feet across the driveway and knocked over (where my car would have been if it wasn't left in the street), power outage, a couple of small fires. The kind of chaos that brings a whole neighborhood out into the streets to gawk and chat.
Strange thing being, the oak uprooted, the basketball hoop, the mangled yard light, but not one piece of lightweight furniature in the backyard was moved an inch.
Also, sadly enough, Hamster got out of his cage. I'm not sure how the cage got opened since it has a latch. Probably didn't get closed properly last time. During the power outage, it was discovered that Hamster had met an unfortunate, accidental and untimely death. May he rest his little teeth in hamster peace.
