I'm so fucking selfish. I swear I am. I shouldn't be so down in the dumps, but its all because I'm selfish.

I met Ginner's boy tonight, for the first time. Maybe I'm holding something against him because he will be going to Cali w/ us if we go (which was NOT in the original plan). Maybe its cause they hold hands at the fucking dinner table. Maybe its cause Ginner treated me like a long lost friend ("so how's Christian? Is your brother still being an ass?" We just talked on the phone like 2 nights ago! And we did not discuss any of these issues?!) Maybe its cause Ginner asked what I was doing tonight, told me we should go see the Websters, and then BACKED OUT on me, after she instigated it! We're talking about my best friend, who, when one of my other friends dicked me over and backed out of plans, DROVE ALMOST 2 HOURS to come home and hang out with me. Yeah, I think thats whats bugging me the most. frown I feel discarded.

I feel for ya, that sucks. You're not selfish, she is. If she asked about going out and backed out, thats her loss. You should have went anyway and called her from the bar. "I am having a blast, fuck off!" I am friends with my wife so we communicate, tell each other how we feel and go on. Thats what friendship is all about, give and take. Compromise. If she drove here to hang with you, then she should hang with you. If it is an issue with her bf, thats his problem and he needs to get over it. She shouldn't have treated you like a long lost friend. That would make me wander where in her life you fit, and what she has told her bf mad! Life is too short to be hung up on friends that put you on the back burner.


If the Chrome thing falls through, come to Jefferson Hall. Bring your friends, come alone, whatever. we would like to meet you and hang out. I'll be wearing a Lucky 13 shirt. Don't be shy, if I see ya, I will bring you to our table and introduce you to our friends.
