WOO HOO! Its been snowing! I'm probably one of the only people in Cincinnati that LOVES LOVES LOVES the snow. I love sled riding, playing in it, walking in it, driving in it, everything. I especially love driving in it. I miss my Nova though,
Last night my friend Lesley and I went to Bobby Mackey's for the 1st time. Anyone know of it?? Its in Kentucky, country bar, pretty damn fun if you ask me. The thing is, its supposedly haunted, and I'm a big wuss.
We were going to take the "tour" but unfortunately they weren't doing it because of the weather. Shucks.
Creepy note- When we found the place, way back in the backwoods (haha), we couldn't find a place to park. Since we had been on the highway, I had my CB radio on. Passed the place up, went to turn around, all of a sudden my CB starts getting all this static. Just continuous static, as if someone pressed in their mic button but wasn't talking. So I turned the squelch way up so I wouldn't hear it, cause it kinda freaked me out that it just started doing it randomly (I keep the squelch adjusted so that I don't get all kinds of random static, and I had heard NO noise from the CB the entire time I had it on that night). Turn around, try and find a parking spot, no luck, go to U-turn in the same spot---continuous static starts again once we hit the same spot. I turned the CB OFF and freaked out. Lesley laughed at me, maybe you have to understand the whole CB thing, but I was freaked out. I think if we had taken the haunted tour, I would have peed myself
"The old building that now houses Bobby Mackeys was a slaughterhouse for over 40 years during the 1800s. The ample spilled blood from the slaughterhouse and its location on the banks of the Licking Riverone of the few rivers in the world that flow northattracted a hoard of satanic worshippers who used the site for sacrificial grounds.
