So Punta Cana was amazing. The people there are so incredibly friendly (despite language barriers) and they are so proud to live where they do. They really love their country (and why not? I think I can call it the most beautiful place on earth!) The beach is amazing, especially the Caribbean which is so crystal clear its unbelievable. We took a speedboat out to an island called Saona--on the way back, we stopped at a "natural pool" in the middle of the sea and got to see starfish! We got to pick them up and everything!
I also went on a tour called the Outback Safari--they take you through the mountains and through towns on the inner part of the island, and you get to see how everyday Dominican people live. Very interesting. Again, everyone is very friendly.
Then we went boogie boarding at a secluded beach which was incredible. Gigantic waves!
I really had a blast, even though I was with my parents and my sister. But I think next time I'm taking my best friend Ginner with me--she and I will tear it up down there! I only went to the danceclub once--she and I will be there every night!
