I had an amazing night last night.
Went in to work at 7 PM, and only planned on working til 1 AM. Tony did the same thing. The original plan was that we were going to hang out after 1 AM, because his wife thought he signed up for a full night of overtime (devious plan, eh?) We ended up leaving work together, and since my sister had driven in to work, he was gonna take me home and we were gonna watch a movie and stuff. We sat in his truck while it warmed up for a while--he had some hats attached around his shifter. I looked for the hat that I gave him recently, that has a skull and crossbones on it. It wasn't there. So he reaches back by the rear of the seats....searches....nothing. He reaches behind the seat....nothing. He gets pissed off. He said he knew what I was looking for, and he had it sitting right between th seats the other day, and now its gone. He looked in his little cubby between the seats for the paper he wrote my phone number on, in case she deletes it out of his phone again--not there. He got really pissed, cause he realized she went through his truck again. At that point, he said he was just going to take me home, and go back to his place and wake her up and bitch at her for going through his stuff.
I felt really bad....and I talked to him, calmed him down a little. I told him it wasn't every day that he has a chance to hang out with me. I told him I know he's been stressed out for weeks, and she pisses him off, but he needed to let that go, hang out with me, have a good time and forget it all for the next 6 hours. I talked him into it. By the time we were halfway to my house he had forgotten the whole incident.
We laid on my bed and watched "Walking Tall" which wasn't so good....but it was good to lay there wrapped in his arms. And I do mean wrapped! It was awesome. It makes all the stress, unhappiness, tears, and frustration just melt away.
We took a nap, then he took me back up to Florence so I could meet my sister and go to the bar with her and a bunch of folks from her shift. Tony ended up staying at the bar til about 8:45 (work is over at 7 AM) and I was worried there would be a fight at his house once he got home. He assures me there wasn't, that he just went straight to bed.
I'm so glad he came to the bar. We had fun. And he needed that.
I am so grateful for last night.
I have a huge hangover, and I'm supposed to be at work right now. I called in, cause I threw up a couple times (yeah.....toooo much beer) but I'm going in at 1 AM so I still have some kind of a paycheck.

Anyways, I post mine in a special "journal pics" folder on this site. If you right click on the pic when you have the album opened up and choose PROPERTIES then you'll see web address. Copy that address and go to your Update page and click the link under INSERT that says IMAGE and paste the address you copied in there and click okay. It will put some HTML in your update box and when you submit it, it should show up on your page.
One piece of advice, make sure the pic isn't huge and get cut off. I had to shrink down the one of Steve and I because it was freakin' HUGE.
Have a great (that means stress-free!) Thanksgiving, bambina.
