I'm writing this from my sick bed, as I have a nasty bout of cold/man flu. I've been off of work all week and although I am beginning to feel better, I'm considering phoning in sick tomorrow as well. The thing with doing that is my work don't tend to pay out sick pay unless in really special circumstances so if I miss a whole week of work, I miss a whole week's wages... D'oh!

This Saturday is my friends' birthday celebration! The 2 Sarahs who celebrate the same birthday can't agree on what we should all do. One wants to go out for a meal at one of the most expensive places in town, while the other Sarah is just happy to get drunk. Considering I'm pretty strapped for cash, I'm going with the 'just getting drunk' plan. Plus anything to get me out of my house is a good plan right now, I haven't watched so much daytime TV since I was a student. If I ever meet Jeremy Kyle (chat show host in the same vein as Jerry Springer, for all you American viewers), I'm gonna punch him square on the nose.
