i swear ko lipe is a real place! either that or it was the most beautiful hallucination ever... look closely on your map... way way down south, in the water very close to where the border with malaysia cuts thru the water. next the turutao national park ( a bigger island). look for pak bara on the mainland, west coast, and go west in the water from there... that was me! on a boat!
