Busy week indeed.Got married, became a dad,and found out my co-manager at work just gave notice,,,,,,,,,,,,, and got my bike out of hurricane wasted Biloxi finally, now have to fix it up and hit the road. JOY,, I missed it,,it sat on the 8th floor of a parking garage in Casino Magic (Totally destroyed),for 4 1/2 months till the contracters finally pushed it down 16 flights of stairs.I had it shipped to reno.
Bummer tho,I lost my entire house to the 40 foot surge that took out all the casino's in down town biloxi,I lived accross the street from the beach and casino's.
I'm never living in a hurricane area again.
Global warming means this is going to happen more often.I pity the folks who move back into New Orleans,,,,

A friend of a friend of mine got tired of the mudslides, earthquakes, brushfires, and riots of Los Angeles, so he moved to coastal North Carolina. Can you guess what happened next?
But the folks at the Hurricane Research Division of the Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory of the NOAA say that global warming had not yet had a noticable effect on hurricanes.
Which, unfortunately, is no consolation if a hurricane has wiped you out. Sometimes, Nature is a mother....
