(backwards)
i don't care if monday's black
(and it was, even in cute sandals like these
despite the fact today i taught my last first year conversation class...)
and sunday always comes too late
(and it did, as beautiful as it was... i.e. i'm falling in love?)
but friday never hesitate
it's friday i'm in love
enough of this stuff
it's friday i'm in love

friday wasn't the best, actually. sunday love, friday bitchiness and work (to be repeated saturday). it has been an interesting week, to say the least. to catch you up would mean divulging miniscule details that would perhaps not be worth your time. thus, i will sum it up as follows:
1. i want to write a play about ... well, everything, right now.
2. i am going to be teaching one less class. huzzah.
3. i am on a big quebecois play/poetry kick (see #1)
4. things are going well with the boy. too well, much too well for someone who is leaving the continent.
5. 41 days.
6. still no visa, therefore:
7. slight waves on anxiety wash over me daily.
8. this weekend, to attend bbq and then a quintin tarantino theme party.
9. i will be mia wallace, from the cover of pulp fiction.
10. the boy is amazing. have i said that before? well, he is.
everyone should read carole frchette's "les sept jours de simon labrosse". we performed it last summer. i was nathalie when she plays 'la jeune fille'.
on that note, everyone should learn french so they can actually succeed in understanding afore-mentioned fantastic french play.
final thought. a year ago, i was falling in love. funny (intersting, not 'haha') how much has and has not changed in a year.

I need to learn french. I started learning, but at the same time as i started learning german, so now its just a jumble of harsh consonents and soft vowels.
