all right. time to answer those questions. i'm bored and sleepy and just got home from work and have a union meeting to go to soon.
so. gilberto said: why in gods name do you lavender your hands like that every night? do they like it when you do this?
because my hands are really really dry. as is my apartment. they LOVE when i do this. my hands suck up that oil like it was water and they were cacti. the comparison ends when they don't retain it like cacti. but i digress.
StrongMad asked: What song has the ability to bring you to tears?
many have the ability to do this. most especially 'tiny vessels' by death cab, from transatlanticism. also transatlancism, the song. also various hungarian and serbian songs which remind me of 'home'. see answer to another question below.
discreet805 asked: I'm moving to Texas....can I take you with me??
only if you're moving to a ranch. i've always wondered about life on a ranch. also, people in texas would not get my un-cowboy boots. people in guelph don't get them either and i wish i didn't wear them to the mall yesterday. stupid guelphites (mad respect to the exception; if you are from guelph and post on sg, you're the exception). so that was my little aside. moving on.
daft_student (one of the guelph exceptions i addressed) asked: Now I'm curious where those first 13 years were spent. And, is there some residual accent?
the former yugoslavia. though i should stress that i was a part (being just one small person, obviously a fraction of an iota of a part) of a hungarian minority. and yes, i suppose i do have an accent, despite having worked hard most of my time here to erase it. some notice right away, others notice when i say words like "cookie" or "hoodie" or "groceries".
ch1st0ph3r asked: 10. What was the last good book you've read?
And also, I have a 4 of the books on your amazon wish list...would you like to borrow one?
that would be 'cosmopolis' by don delillo. i am actually (sort of) looking forward to including it in my 15 page essay. not really. but despite the fact that it didn't receive great reviews, i thuroughly enjoyed it.
and yes! and i'm impressed.
and last but sooo not least Chanel (yet another exception to the guelphites suck rule) asked: Whats your favorite word? and why you use it.
i tend to use "debauchery" and its derivatives quite frequently. i guess i use it because it makes me sound smart. also i like the way it sounds. almost like a secretion of some kind.
i miss her. a lot. and no. i don't wear coloured contacts. though i saw an article about these dior gold sparkle contacts and i want them.
see? my eyes are powerful. this is when i was burning a hole in some guy's pants. or maybe i'm a robot in disguise (like the band) and the disguise slipped for a second.

Now that I am done with my schoolwork we can chat more, hopefully. I am going to get on MSN cause that seems like where the cool kids are.
Are you in finals now, too?
